EpocCam focuses on app-based technology that turns anyone's iPhone into a fully functional webcam for use on PCs. With the current global pandemic and focus on Work From Home, webcams have been in short supply. This technology makes webcams even more accessible to those who might need them. As Corsair is firmly entrenched in the gaming market, this acquisition is surely aimed at streamers and other gamers. No word yet on exactly how Corsair plans to use the newly acquired technology or whether it will be integrated into their current software suite.
