Today Valve announced 3 new additions to their Steam Hardware series expanding on the Deck to include a new Controller, Steam Machine, and finally the long-awaited replacement to the Index: the Steam Frame.
ð“‘‚
The Steam Machine and Frame both have SteamOS installed and the Frame will have compatibility for x86 apps despite being ARM. And since it's not locked down, you can do whatever you want on it.

Can you please make it so that people can't spoil the answer to the word puzzle in the first comment before the game even loads in? People who are considerate of others will add a lot of empty lines before showing the answer but certain people like this week seem intent on ruining it for others.

Comments load in first so zooming in doesn't fix this.
Just putting this out there to see what the community thinks about this. The goal would be that we create games that could be featured in the arcade section (Beta) or maybe even as the weekly challenge game. I of course have no authority on this, just an idea to help refresh things.
Steam Next Fest encourages publishers/devs to put out game demos which is great, but why on Earth would anyone remove the demos after Next Fest is over??

Also, did you discover anything new and interesting?
Anyone find any hidden gems in the Steam Bullet Heaven Festival?

For me it was Keeper's Toll. Cheap, a colorful visual style i like, fun to play, and a really good soundtrack.
Wow the new Steam Discovery Queue is completely useless for discovering games but at least makes it quicker to finish the quest. I already miss the old one that took you to the game page.

On the other hand the 2024 Autumn Sale profile background is really cute.
Elgato Stream Deck 2 or Stream Deck Plus? Looking for opinions from people who have one or both of these. I like that the Deck + can do audio mixing with dedicated knobs but i'd like to know how useful that actually is for you.

I did a dumb.
For the choose your own game Steam quest i meant to change the default game selected but clicked start quest instead. My mistake but i'm still blaming the UI for having a game selected by default. Now i have to play Counter Strike: Source ;_;
Do you have a hard limit for how much you're willing to spend on any game in early access? As in you'd never pay above this price for early access no matter what game it is?
Did ARP from Twitch get secretly nerfed or is it just me?
I'm loading up the same Hive streams as before the recent Nexus change but it's taking so much longer now. 15 ARP in 1.5 hours... It's taking 2x as long instead of being 2x faster.
- Denuvo anti-consumer DRM
- Can't start with any civ you want and keep it the same for the whole game
- Increased pricing (i never buy full price anyway but i don't agree that games need to cost more and i don't support publishers that do this)
