nVidia real-time ray tracing (DXR) available for GeForce Pascal/Turing/Volta cards
If you want to check how the ray tracing will work on your GTX card, download and install the "GeForce Game Ready Drivers 425.31" driver. The new technology is available for selected models in the Pascal and Turing architecture (full list). DirectX 12 API extension, DXR, which is responsible for the effects of ray tracing, in the case of older cards is supported by classic CUDA units. Obviously, efficiency is limited to a visible degree.
