Huge Updates to Community Giveaways Are Live!
We’ve just rolled out our biggest upgrade yet to the Community Giveaways (CG) system and it’s all about giving you more control, more visibility, and more rewards.
Here’s everything you need to know about what’s new:
Introducing: Blind Auction Community Giveaways
Community Giveaways now support Blind Auctions alongside traditional sweepstakes!
Here’s how it works:
- CG creators can now select “Blind Auction” when setting up a community giveaway.
- Participants submit a secret ARP bid for a chance to win.
- The highest valid bid wins!
- Ties go to the earliest submitted high bid.
- If a top bidder doesn't have enough ARP at close, we move down the list.
- After it ends, the CG page displays the winner’s first name + last initial and their winning bid amount.
Ready to flex those ARP points? Your bid could be the winning move.

We’ve streamlined the CG experience to help you stay in the loop:
- See which CGs you’ve already entered
- Opt in to notifications for new giveaways
ARP Rewards for CG Participation
Giving back has never been more rewarding.
- Earn 10 ARP every time you complete a CG (claimed or fulfilled)
- Earn up to 100 ARP per month
A simple “thank you” for powering up the community.
Community Giveaways Leaderboards
Want to see how you stack up? Check out the new CG leaderboards showcasing:
- Members with the most completed CGs
- Members whose CGs had the most total entries
- The total value of completed CGs (based on Steam pricing)
