Steam quests not working almost weekly. I don't want to have to run my PC for hours for nothing, but also in this heat running badly optimised games heats up my PC and room + is bad 4 pc. Also I recently got a game that was in the quests and it was buggy and terrible, even many reviews said it's bad for early access and not to get it. But you put it on the list, advertising it? A possible scam.
Had to return it. Please fix quests, add report button for broken quests, let us choose games in a weekly poll

Look into Steam Achievement Manager. Helps you earn the credit without having to run the games. Great to run on a low power device or setting and keep heat down too.

I'd suggest something similar as Stephen. My medication is called SGI Steam Game Idler a very versatile program developed by one guy who's very responsive to user requests.

You are actually downloading and running the game? That right there is your first mistake.

<mention>Stephen085</mention> I also have SAM, but that still means running my pc unattended. Or I can't play a game and my parents can't through shared family because it's occupied. Sometimes it doesn't work for hours/days so I try many hours to no avail.

Sometimes I also just want to turn the PC off, my energy bill is higher otherwise. Laptop is a similar issue, it gets hot even with SAM and I can't use it on my lap or in bed on a bedtable cause it saunas me. And it usually goes as follows:

Run half an hour/an hour, have to close the game (btw applies for events too, it only registers once you close the game/SAM), wait an hour for it to register, if it failed repeat, that's already 3 hours for one failed try... which can go on

For events it can even work once then not for many hours so you run SAM or actually play the game for 7 hours and then realise it didn't work. Okay fine so you instead only run half an hour or an hour at a time and keep checking inbetween..

...then you're also tied to your pc for half a day or a whole day. Ok on another NOTE: THIS RELAY SUCKS only 240 characters and wait 60 seconds between replies on my own post. And the main post is only 512 characters -__-

If a laptop is only running SAM and still getting hot, then you need to check the fans are clean and not blocked. Or your power profile. SAM can run even on the lowest of power profiles, while actually running the game requires power &amp; heat
