Sadly, I don't think the Steam sales warrant that "MEGA" descriptor anymore. They've been recycling (mostly) the same sale prices for years now and they don't even bother with events anymore. They're a pale shadow of what they used to be.

Steam basically outsourced discounts to key resellers, so you basically have a sale for games all year. I rarely find a game cheaper on Steam, mostly only games that do not give out cheap keys. DLC however is often cheaper on Steam.

@TurdFerguson87 it DID start, just not the discovery queue thing, you can get them now by crafting badges, instead of dropping the usual coupons, you get the cards instead.
