Can gogift cards be used in India? Anyone tried? How do I redeem them?

There's a link there that goes to the AWA branded store for GoGift cards, and you can choose a country from the top right area and see what's available in India.

Things to note: the US dollar amount will be converted to your local currency; not sure about there, but where I am the cards go in minimum increments of $5 (in my local currency), which means amounts can be 'stranded' on GoGifts

You basically use the GoGift card code to buy local store gift cards from the AWA branded GoGift site, and GoGIft should have a variety of merchants available for most countries.
